Following The Leader….

Today is a very exciting day for me! I get to accompany  my husband, Greg, to a recording studio!! We will be going and getting a tour of the studio, Greg will get to play some songs, and then we will chat with the producer. And, in all typical girl-ness, I’ve been wondering what to wear!

Anyways, I am super excited! Greg is really ready to pursue music. Although, at this time, we aren’t really sure what that means! He’s been writing quite a bit in the past 6 months, and it’s good…. at least, I think it is.

To give you a little look in: Greg has been leading worship since he was 16 years old. Almost every church we have been involved with, Greg has helped with the music. He is currently the worship leader at our church, and was previously the worship leader for the youth group for about 3 1/2 years. He really has a heart to lead God’s people in worship. He likes to say that he is not the worship leader, but the lead worshiper!

Please keep us in your prayers today. We want to follow The Leader! We want to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and where God would have us be in this time in our lives with Greg’s music. We aren’t looking to make a household name, just a CD so when someone asks if Greg has one, we can say, “Yes!” If God has more than that, so be it!

And, please be praying for Greg. He has caught the cold that’s been passed around our family. His voice is not 100% and I know he’s concerned about that. Just pray that he will do his best and not worry about the rest. I think his heart in his music is just as important as his voice.
