The Back-Talking Boy Part 1
I have a boy who can be sweet, kind, and loving. A few nights ago this little boy came downstairs to find me and give me a kiss before he went to bed. This same child can drive me almost crazy with his tongue and attitude. The back talking my little boy has been doing is almost more than I can take.

Proverbs 16.24 Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
I asked some of you on my Facebook page how you handle this and got quite a few responses. I have tried some of them and they have failed in the past. However, it was an email I just received from a special person to me (my Mom) that caught my attention. Although she did leave a small comment, her email clicked with me. She said to put honey on their his tongue and tell him it will make his words sweet.
Psalm 119.103 How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
I think it’s time for an experiment! We will try the honey and memorize these verses. Look out for part 2 and I’ll let you know how it all goes!
