What do you do when tragedy strikes? Get angry with God? Get political? Get on with your life?

After yesterday’s shooting in Connecticut, yes, life does move on….For the rest of us. We still have heavy hearts for those victims and their families. Most of us don’t really understand the tragedy of losing a child. I know I don’t. It is so sad to me, words can not describe it. And yes, I held my children a little bit closer last night. It seems that tragedy after tragedy has been occurring lately. Death and more death. Most of which, have no explanation, and is completely heartbreaking.

The fact is, we live in a fallen world full of sin and evil.

Until the Lord Jesus comes back, that will not change. There may be pockets of areas where Christianity appears dominant, but, there will always be evil. I’m ready for His return. Not for fear of having to go through the same pain and suffering that these families have gone through, (although, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone!) but because I am ready to live in His glory! I am ready for His Presence to reign! This world is not my home.

Come Lord Jesus.
